you earn more, you live longer

A display correlating additional years lived (above the lowest spending decile) with additional money spent; each datapoint represents an income decile. At 25 years old lowest income earners in canada live to an average age of 62; the top 10% of income earners live to an average age of 76. Though correlation does not guarantee causation, it's certainly fair to say that having a little more money isn't a bad thing from a quality-of-life point of view.
